ROUND IN THE LOUNGE with Lenny Lashley, Kate Redgate and Greg Loftus

Saturday, September 13, 2025

7pm-10pm

Lenny Lashley - One of Boston’s most beloved punk rockers and deeply moving lyricists, Lenny Lashley has never been afraid to step outside of his comfort zone, Bostonian’s thrive in discomfort in fact, and nowhere is this better reflected than through his music career which has spanned across many genres. From his hard partying punk band Darkbuster in the 90s to his current solo outing Lenny Lashley’s Gang of One he’s evolved his style from traditional punk to folk, blues and rock ’n’ roll. With all these changes in sound however Lenny’s brand of down-on-his-luck yet insightful lyricism hasn’t wavered, nor has it deteriorated. The fact is Lenny’s always had the uncanny ability to produce songs that just speak to his listeners deepest regrets and misfortunes.

Kate Redgate - Just a girl, a guitar, and a lifetime of stories put into song. Kate Redgate's music is a mixture of rock and roll, folk, roots-rock and country. The result of a high school dropout using time well spent absorbing her early influences: the ones she heard as a kid on the loudspeakers at the Illinois Boots and Saddle Club, the ones she saved money and hitched rides to buy recordings of at the local record store, and the ones she waited to hear on the radio, cassette recorder button ready, so she could rewind and playback songs over and over learning chords and writing down lyrics. The Stones and the Grateful Dead, X and the Replacements, Pretenders and Joni Mitchell, Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris… You get the drift.

Greg Loftus - Calloused road-worn Americana from southeast Massachusetts. Greg Loftus has spent the better half of the last decade living in Austin TX where he spent his time honing his songwriting skills and fronting the Alt-Country outfit, Carpetbagger. Loftus’ songs aren’t the work of some fly-by-night dilettante temporarily fascinated with the genre. Instead, it’s the work of an experienced songwriter who’s committed a good portion of his life to his art. These songs mean everything to him. Greg released his forth full-length record 'No Kings in the Wild' in September of 2024 and has shared the stage with Anders Osborne, Shakey Graves, Deer Tick, Mike Cooley of Drive-By Truckers, Possessed by Paul James and Cory Branan. “These are they type of songs I am jealous of” - Steve Earle, August 2023 referring to Greg’s song “Seven Sisters”
