Calloused road-worn Americana from southeast Massachusetts. Greg Loftus has spent the better half of the last decade living in Austin TX where he spent his time honing his songwriting skills and fronting the Alt-Country outfit, Carpetbagger. Loftus’ songs aren’t the work of some fly-by-night dilettante temporarily fascinated with the genre. Instead, it’s the work of an experienced songwriter who’s committed a good portion of his life to his art. These songs mean everything to him. Greg released his forth full-length record 'No Kings in the Wild' in September of 2024 and has shared the stage with Anders Osborne, Shakey Graves, Deer Tick, Mike Cooley of Drive-By Truckers, Possessed by Paul James and Cory Branan.
