BL Paterson is the creative force behind Brother’s Rye, Silver Still Shines and Blythe Hollow. As a singer-songwriter, Paterson blends evocative storytelling with a deep reverence for folk and roots traditions, known for his soulful performances and poignant lyricism. With a background in independent music production and a passion for collaboration, BL has spent most of his life in the woodworking trades, but has always considered writing and performing music his passion. As a long time Woods Hole resident BL continues to write songs about his experience in the area. Along with his new band, BL & the Small Motors, Paterson is launching into a new era of his career performing older songs from prior bands and solo efforts along with new material.
